Central Boiler, established in 1984, is the premier manufacturer of quality outdoor furnaces in North America. The Central Boiler plant in Greenbush, Minnesota, is one of the largest manufacturers in northwestern Minnesota.
Based on a personal desire to create safer and more efficient heating products, the company's
designs and patents have established Central Boiler as a leader in product
quality, design, and innovation. The company's philosophy centers on two principles: (1)
manufacture the best; and (2) always strive to make it better. This uncompromising attitude
is at the core of the company's growth. The company has a sales and dealer network that
has now established itself throughout the United States and Canada.
Characteristic of Central Boiler's commitment to quality, the Classic was
the first outdoor wood furnace to be UL and CSA certified. Central Boiler was the first
company whose outdoor wood furnace qualified for the EPA Outdoor Wood-fired Hydronic Heaters (OWHH)
program. Thousands of these heating systems
are in use today in a variety of heating applications, in businesses and in homes. Central Boiler outdoor furnaces are available from hundreds of authorized dealers in the United States and Canada.
In addition, Central Boiler offers a variety of heating-related
products and accessories.
Central Boiler remains a
privately held corporation. The company's work force continues to grow at the Greenbush
facility, always striving to acquire talent that represents the highest level of
performance in all areas of production, engineering, sales, marketing, and customer service.
Located in Greenbush, Minnesota
Northwestern Minnesota provides the perfect stage for discovering the future of fire through
the development of advanced heating systems from Central Boiler.
In the mid-1980s, Dennis Brazier founded Central Boiler in his hometown of Greenbush, located in
northwestern Minnesota, a mere 20 miles from the Canadian border. In this small community, the
workers are dedicated, the people are warm and the winter temperature can plummet to nearly 60
degrees below zero. Because of the weather conditions here, community members appreciate the
need for reliable, yet efficient, heating systems such as the wood heating systems
available from Central Boiler.
Today, Greenbush is home to a variety of industries, ranging from manufacturing to farming.
The community supports many civic organizations as well. Community members enjoy numerous
recreational opportunities, including golfing, swimming, snowmobiling and stock car racing
at the Greenbush Race Park. A Midwest tradition, especially in rural communities throughout
this region, Greenbush is host to various annual celebrations such as the Greenbush 4th of July celebration.

"Buying the Classic Central Boiler is one of the best decisions I have made toward achieving my goal of creating a totally self suffient farmstead. I have a free supply of wood so my heat and hot water cost me zero. Since installing the Boiler I save between $300 and $400 per month by not having to purchase propane. The return on investment is immediate and substantial and soon to be money in the bank."
