Position Overview:

The Regional Dealership Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing a market portfolio of Central Boiler Dealers. RDM will work collaboratively with assigned Dealers on their business to help them achieve sales budgets, performance metrics, scorecard and customer satisfaction targets.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop territory by researching market performance, competitive landscape, and new Dealer prospects. Analyze opportunities, identify key Dealer personnel, and develop strong business relationships. Serve as a consultant to Dealers and provide solutions and ideas on improving sales performance through market and customer analytics, asset and liability calculations and training, VOC (Voice of Customer) survey result sharing, opportunities and applications. Develop strategies for improving advertising requirements to increase traffic flow and Dealer differentiation.
  • Develop a regular territory management plan to maximize time with Dealers.
  • Develop sales and inventory strategies, proposals, and forecasts. Review and help conduct product and sales method training presentations. Assist Dealers in planning and understanding inventory ordering and logistics planning.
  • Utilize operational resources including CRM, dashboard tools, internal online support resources to maintain accurate records of sales, customer inventory, and performance metrics information.
  • Discuss sales and registration activities and Dealer prospect pipeline opportunities and targets with Dealer Development and Sales Manager.
  • Participate in an initial training program to enhance product knowledge, customer analytics, training and sales method skills. Participate in ongoing training programs at Central Boiler offices and regionally as needed.
  • Travel requirements up to 25% possible.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

Minimum/Essential Qualifications:

  • Some College preferred
  • 2+ years’ experience with marketing, franchise/dealership, commercial B2B selling, large ticket item and parts selling, or high volume B2C successful sales experience preferred
  • Broad knowledge of the entire sales method process
  • Strong communication, organizational and time management skills
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities, strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation and ability to work in a team environment
  • Microsoft Office experience
  • Inventory/sales forecasting and logistics experience
